Indoor Rockclimbing

I have deemed this part of my life, 'Adventure & Responsibility,' and one of my adventure goals is to start rock climbing more. It's a great workout and the indoor rock climbing atmosphere is so chill and welcoming you can't help but love it.
Luckily Grand Rapids has three pretty big rock climbing centers. Of course there are various rock walls to climb including YMCA venues and Dick's Sporting Goods stores but the three specific centers include Higher Ground Rock Climbing Center Ltd, Inside Moves and Grand Valley State University's Rock Climbing Center.

Higher Ground Rock Climbing Center Ltd:
851 Bond Avenue Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49503
(616) 774-3100
Higher Ground has a huge rockclimbing room and a variety of skill level routes. They also have a separate room specifically for bouldering. Their a bit more pricey for fees and equipment rental but I would say they're worth it.
Inside Moves:
639 76th Street Southwest, Byron Center, MI 49315
(616) 281-7088

The picture on the right is my friend Abby at Inside Moves :)

Grand Valley State University Rockclimbing:
1 Campus Drive, Allendale Charter Township, MI 49401
(616) 331-5000
If you are a Grand Valley student this is definitely the place to go. good people, good music, and

a welcoming atmosphere. Their prices are probably the best for students. It is $1
harness rental and $ 2shoe rental. Free for students and $10 day pass for the general public.
